The problem is they can't put the round leather thing in the oppositions net, and they can't keep it out of theirs

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
Only 1 problem. Because the manager thinks he's above everyone and the players are as good as they are becausr of his special ability to coach them. But the biggest problem is his contract and the fact of who is good enough to replace him.

The problem is that Jose thinks he is bigger than the club. He's not. It's that simple.

Chelsea in the bottom 3 at Christmas would be a wonderful thing.
I might make a Christmas card out of the league table I think

I'd love to see Sunderland beat Chelsea, I couldn't give two fucks about Allardyce and don't know any Sunderland fans.

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
Chelsea have no problem as far as i can see, if anything i think they are doing a bit too well.............

Difficult one against Sunderland though, a draw i think is the best outcome, as i really dont want either to win.

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
To be fair I understood Jose wanted Stones & Pogba and I am guessing a major striker and although every manager wants lots of new expensive players he can say he saw the need of renewal.
It really is astounding how some players who were outstanding like Ivanovic , Matic, Hazard, Fabregas , Costa etc have ALL turned to shit.
By astounding I mean fantastic of course.
I really don't know where they go from here.
Great , innit?

Tex.

They won the league last season without Lakaku.

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
Their problem is that Jose is the world's most overrated manager. I'm not jumping on the bandwagon about that. I said he was overrated years ago. RIGHT AS USUAL.

He's just having a bad season like any other manager, and because no one at Chelsea knows what's going on, they're all freaking out and panicking.

If it wasn't Jose they would have sacked him after a month.

It also seems that some players have a "direct line" to the owner, which would somewhat tie the manager's hand, certainly when it comes to discipline.

You can say that again!

The self obsessed ego maniac manager has lost the dressing room...starting with his treatment of the Physio...and carried on by publicly criticizing many of his players...

On the player side...he should have replaced Terry...Ivanovic in the summer...and not persisted playing Fabregas...Costa...despite them contributing very little this season...

And...how stupid not keeping Lukaku...

" .... but the main problem .... seems to me is they take 3-4 passes when 1 would do the same thing therefore slowing the game down hugely."

Perhaps they are more focused on their stats, like our very own midfield maestro.

I would sooner mince my helmet on a cheese-grater than swap Bilic for Mourinho.

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
If he's really the genius he thinks he is why doesn't he drop all those players that "betrayed" him? Chelsea have the most reserve players playing in major leagues in the whole world. Surely he can recall a few in January.

It's clear that Remy is miles better than Costa at the moment. Why not play all those millionaire younger they have? Only worth keeping Willian, Cortouis and zuma really. Surely he should be able to prove his point that he can coach any old players who listen to what he says because in his eyes everyone else is shit and he knows everything.

But he won't do anything like that becuause the reality is he's a cheque book manager. Only works with expensive squads with unlimited resources. Barring his early success with Porto he's had a squad of nearly a billion pounds to play with. He spent over 200m alone just to move Chelsea from 2nd to 1st in his first season. Maybe the emperor really doesn't have any clothes on..

Why's that? Which managers would you swap Bilic for?

Chelsea's main problem is that the supporters are a bunch of poofs.
